This post is from me – it is not a channeled message. This post is about things that I am learning, things that I am noticing, and things that I am doing that I find promote higher levels of mind/body/soul balance. And with increased overall balance, I find that my abilities increase. And I find that when in a balanced state, my skills are sharper tools.
By no means do I imply that I have achieved mastery. But I have lived enough of it now to write about it and what I see happening as it relates to me, to mediumship, and to soul development. I feel that I have enough information to begin putting it on the table and sharing it with others.
There is a process by which I find myself getting further stages of clarity. Things become more, and more clear to me (metaphysically and as relates to abilities with mediumship) the more I find myself working through a process. The best metaphor that I can come up with is that it is very much a process of peeling layers off of me. Other times it feels like cleaning off layers off of me. Heavy layers that hid things from me. Or layers of dirt/grime that clouded my ability to perceive clearly.
To me, it feels like we accumulate layers over us as we go about living in this dimension – and I get the impression that some of these layers also come with us, as souls, as we arrive into this dimension. Regardless of origin, the removal process seems to proceed in a similar fashion.
For me, the process starts with an observation or aha moment (sometimes sudden and unexpected, sometimes not). And staying mentally present with that observation/aha moment (not ignoring it) I recognize an insight from it. And looking around with this insight, I “see” layers that feel like a heaviness or sometimes layers that feel like dirt/grime that I just want to get OFF of me. With this added clarity, I just can’t get the layer or grime off of me fast enough! And when it is off, I feel relief and no longer bogged down by it or that it no longer clouds my vision. Layer removal is not always fast or easy. And sometimes it requires practice and changes the way I interact within this dimension (well, and other dimensions for that matter) and within myself.
For me, I feel these layers/grime in a number of different areas, and to remove the layers/grime I find myself taking actions that change my life – sometimes significantly.
- Mental/mind. Making space between the demands of physical survival in this dimension (work, food/water, housing, sleep, health, etc.) that require use my mind/consciousness, and being able to use my mind/consciousness for my own behalf/betterment. Building into my life the space needed to use my mind for my own well being, rather than have it be under the command of the demands of day-to-day living. I find that this task is particularly challenging given the advancements in communications and technologies that seem to escalate “distractedness-from-self.” Taking Action: Gain control of the mind space.
- Spiritual/soul. Placing a higher value in operating myself more from a soul level and less based upon what I think others want me to do or how my external world may be implying what I SHOULD be doing. Taking Action: Focus on reprioritization.
- Physical/body. Getting healthier and treating my body better. Removing extremes that seem to make my body not function well (food, exercise, self care, sleep, mental states of energetic homeostasis, etc.). Removing any extremes that seem to throw off an optimal balance between mind/body/soul and that throw off my ability to be in “the zone.” Taking Action: Run a well-oiled machine.
- Social/collective. Removing social and cultural rules of living that are imposed upon us in this incarnate dimension that are not in the best interest or are counter productive to the process of soul development. I find myself working to remove myself from social situations or social groups that run on fear, judgment, or in general do not show love and support for an individual along their path of betterment. Sometimes this is hard, because we still have to work to make a living, and we have to interact with others as we live. But there are opportunities where we do have choice – where we CAN choose to take action and elevate ourselves to better places. Taking Action: Surround yourself with the higher and brighter.
To me it is all about taking notice, keeping with the insight, gaining clarity, and then working to peel off layers or clean off layers as I recognize them. With each insight and layer removal;
- What I am willing to do, tolerate, or accept near me keeps changing/evolving.
- What I am willing to surround myself with, put in myself, how I treat myself keeps changing/evolving.
- How I am willing to live and interact in this dimension’s culture and systems of living keeps changing/evolving.
