As channeled:
“Focusing on yourself and your own soul development is not selfish or self centered. It is not to the detriment of others. Quite the contrary!
Soul development – moving yourself to a being that is higher and brighter – acknowledges the fact that we are all part of the Collective – regardless of each of our dimensions-of-residence.
Using your free will, and becoming higher and brighter and operating in context of other souls, does not allow you to be selfish as you develop. Allow me to explain.
- A self-focused soul cannot simultaneously become higher and brighter at the exclusion of (or expense of) others. This situation is a blockage to development.
- Likewise, a soul that focuses on others to the detriment of their own soul health and their own soul development does not equate to an advanced soul. This situation is a stagnation of development.
So this all-too-readily-accepted concept of complete selflessness being a symbol of advancement is a falsehood. It is not in alignment! One’s own soul development requires us to relate to others, interact with others, and be a part of the Collective.
What is the balance? The balance is the art of living and developing in the incarnate/physical dimension! (And always has been.) Your free will allows choice, and using your choice allows you to aim toward self-betterment while improving the lives of others. It promotes the oneness between us all. It draws us closer. It makes us stronger. It promotes our own development while creating opportunities for others to live in a world where their growth and development is supported and nurtured by others in oneness.
It is, at this time, an art-of-living that is to be strived for from where you and your world and your others are today.
It is a balance to evaluate and seek to be vigilant to maintain – within yourself, and across souls, and across environments.
Do you see your part in this – we know you do, and it is expanding, even though you may not know the fullness of the role that you play.
- Self promotion at the exclusion or expense of others…
- Promotion of others at the exclusion or expense of self…
Neither of these sides of the pendulum represents a balance. Expect swings of the pendulum that occur within you and across social settings. Look for ways to reduce the pendulum’s swing – again – within you and across social settings (your internal and external environments).
When you sense balance – pause and feel it, consider it, do not rush through it. Sit in the balance and evaluate what drives the balance (internally and externally). How does the balance make you feel? How does it impact how you choose to live, how you choose to spend the time allocated to your incarnate/physical life? What can you learn from that state of being while the pendulum is balanced?
The insights that you discover during this type of exercise may serve as a signal or guidepost on how you choose to move forward – from where you are today in your development to where you choose to take yourself and where we may support you and help to share opportunities and circumstances to promote your development.”
